Mitch McConnell is really just being a fool. The things that are coming out of his mouth are just ridiculous and embarrassing, for himself.
McConnell gave a speech to Kentucky donors in which he discussed and pointed fingers at President Trump for the failure of ObamaCare. He is actually saying that President Trump is at fault because he is expecting too much work out of Congress. Seriously! You have to see what he said.
Mitch McConnell told the donors at the Florence Rotary Club in Kentucky, “Now our new president has, of course, not been in this line of work before, and I think has excessive expectations about how quickly things happen in the democratic process. And so, part of the reason I think people feel like we’re underperforming is because too many artificial deadlines unrelated to the reality and the complexity of legislature may not have been fully understood. And so what I’m asking of you is to judge this Congress when it finishes.”
Uh, are you kidding me? President Trump’s expectations of Congress actually doing their job is Trump’s fault. What a laugh. The reason why people feel Congress is underperforming is because that is what they have been doing for many years now. They don’t get things done, and Trump will not stand for it.
McConnell is a funny man. He has NO CLUE! He needs to realize that President Trump has expectations of Congress that are legitimate. Look, if you don’t take August recess maybe you could get things done. Just a thought!
